| Natchez Dinner Cruise Took the Cruise again in early June. The weather was fantastic, staff extremely friendly, and the food was pretty good. The evening skylight of the St. Louis Cathedral makes a wonderful photo opportunity. The commerce on the mighty Mississippi is awesome to observe. Makes you feel like Mark Twain. The Cruise is romantic, nostalgic, relaxing - all the wonderful feelings come to you that inhibits a memorable time. |
| Court Of Two Sisters Restaurant My favorite place to get my wife in a wonderful mood! Brunch is a great time to experience the smorgasbord of New Orleans Cuisine. The buffet changes as the day expires. I love to sit outside in the historic courtyard. If the weather is too uncomfortable given the humidity and temperature, you can just go inside and dine. It is a good place to propose to your lady, tell a friend how much you appreciate them, or sit and rehash good times spent with family. The historic courtyard and Old New Orleans architecture just brings you to that sense of nostalgia. |
| Bacco Had some of the chef's pasta and fresh seafood. The lobster and shrimp ravioli was a choice of my friend. Atmosphere is busy. Not a romantic setting. Go to Bocco for the food. Staff is helpful and friendly. You will experience true New Orleans Cuisine here any day of the week. Reservations are not an absolute but recommended. |
| Cafe Diblasi Italian dining in a historic French Quarter setting. Pan - fried veal with lump crabmeat and lemon cream is a wonderful dish. My party also ordered the traditional veal shank osso buco served with rich brown sauce. Reservations are accepted. |
| Bombay Club A nice French Quarter hide away. The Martini's are wonderful.Try the duck duet pairs confit leg with pepper-seared breast with black currant reduction. The club restaurant has been there for years. Atmosphere is romantic and the hospitality is delightful. |
| Red Fish Grill This is a must. Hickory-grilled red fish, pecan crusted catfish, alligator sausage and seafood gumbo is the best taste of New Orleans that you can imagine. Lunch and Dinner daily. I suggest the Hickory - grilled red fish. Folks come from far away for this delicacy. |

Steve Shaw I have followed Steve Shaw for the past 8 years. His comedy is character. Steve steps directly on the stage with a look of ultimate nerd sporting a personality that projects total ignorance of it. His humor draws on a sense of false confidence in a battle to fight major family disfunction. With that material, Steve incorporates a recipe of his own version of Cajun comedy. It is unlike the stereotype of Justin Wilson or the Boudreaux jokes. It is "Steve Shaw Cajun" all of it's own. You know someone is worth a laugh when the moment that he steps onto the stage, without yet saying a word, the audience is busting a gut. He could just stand still for an hour and you would still be laughing. Steve's comedy is hilarious between every spoken word. I rank Steve pretty darn close to those Blue Colar Boys. Steve is just that good. |
Terry Comeaux Terry Comeaux ranks as high as anyone in my book. If ever you can catch him and Steve Shaw together, it is the utmost of a hilarious treat. I honestly do keep an eye opened to soon seeing Terry on some more big stages alongside of those Blue Collar boys. Seriously. I believe that Terry is only a moment away from major discovery. His stage humor is level 10 bring it on. I have followed Terry for the last 8 years . I have loaded up charters and driven distances to bring many of my friends and customers to watch Terry perform. His characters of the "Tuff" family are his original ingenious creations. It is totally amazing as to how Terry brings on so many different faces. He can change characters in a moments glance. You actually wonder as to how the previous character of a second ago disappeared so quickly. He is just that talented. One turn around and an entirely differdnt character is standing before you. His material can make you laugh for hours on end. Terry Comeaux is worth seeing and is always a great night out with friends. |

| The New Orleans Ghost Tour Reviewed this tour Saturday June 3rd. I can not say enough about the quality of the tour and guide. My guide's name was Minden. He was extremely knowledgeable with New Orleans Facts. One of the stops was so fascinating that the true story of it's History prompted me to do further reading on the matter. I have found that about all the guides on this tour are very informative with personality plus. You really get caught up into the moment. I took photos of every window hoping to get some kind of apparition. I actually think I have one, no kidding. I'm going to submit it to them for a look see. NOA will book this tour from this site for you. |
| Cajun Swamp Tour The alligators are out. The swamp tour located in a private bayou system of swamp waterways, is teaming with wildlife. The alligators are surely wild but they are accustomed to the tour boat. The guide beckoned the gator to the tour boat and the animals do put on a show in quest for a meal. The guides speak the language. It's English, but what I mean is it is Cajun. You are bound to be amused with the stories that he shares with you about this swampland. This tour has always been a favorite of mine. NOA will book this tour from this site for you. |
| Oak Alley Plantation The Plantation with it's noted majestic Oak Trees speaks for itself. Countless movies have been shot there. The history and beauty rival each other. It is easy to go back in time and imagine the steamboats powering up and down the Mississippi River which runs past the home, making their way to the New Orleans French Market. This is a wonderfully preserved home for viewing. I suggest to take the combo tour and view the Laura Plantation as well or include a swamp tour. Make a day of it.
